Albert represents public and private sector clients in all aspects of the construction process. He advises commercial contractors, developers, public entities and individuals. Albert has extensive experience ranging from drafting construction agreements to lien disputes and complex construction litigation.
Real Estate Law
Albert provides clients with innovative, high-quality legal advice designed to bring his clients' broad range of real estate transactions to completion. Routinely assisting clients in the areas of acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, property management and construction. He represents clients in real estate-related dispute resolution in state courts in Oregon and Washington and before administrative agencies. He has extensive trial experience in all types of real estate issues. Albert is also an experienced negotiator, arbitrator and mediator.
Business Law
Albert has substantial expertise in resolving a wide variety of general business disputes including business dissolutions, breach of contract and civil defense. He regularly assists clients in the formation of business entities.
Professional Expertise
Since beginning his practice in 1989, Albert has concentrated in construction law, real estate and commercial litigation. He is a frequent lecturer on real estate and construction law topics.
Professional Affiliations
Albert is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Litigation, Creditor-Debtor and Construction Law Sections, and the Oregon State Bar Association Construction Law Section. He is a former president of the Clark County Young Lawyers Association. He is past President of the Building Industry Association of Clark County, and serves as a State Director of the Building Industry Association of Washington. Albert is a member of the Clark County Realtors Association.
Community Involvement
Albert is active in community affairs. He is a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of Leadership Clark County.

Admitted to practice law in Washington and Oregon and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington; the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
